Concrete ring well (sinking well)

|
Sinking wells are so named because the casing is sunk into place--i.e., the casing here is made of concrete rings. The method works well in sandy soils. The rings, measuring 0.9m in diameter and 0.5m in height are stacked upon each other in an excavated well hole.
